Born in São Paulo/SP, descending immigrants in  the north ofLebanon (Miniara - Akkar), Vitor Abud Hiar began studies the Arabic percussion from very early.

 Your great interest and talent for percussion, it was noticed by  relatives and friends that encouraged your studies and dedication.
With only 4 years of age, found in Arabic Tabla, your first musical instrument, a true laboratory of rhythms, sounds, styles and variations, becoming a virtuose very prematurely.

He as main incentivador and teacher the pioneer and master of the Arab percussion in Brazil, Fuad Calil Haidamus, where to the 5 years , it already accompanied musically him in parties and family. In 1979, Fuad Haidamus offered to Hiar your first and legendary Tabla case, used in several shows, as incentive to your percussion studies.

Vitor Abud Hiar accumulated the diversified styles, tangible in  Arab rhythm, what turns  thankfully a great virtuose of  Arab percussion in Brazil and World.

Contributed  with your solos to the site of ballerina and choreographer Aziza Yasaman, great schoolmistresses of Bellydance in Rio de Janeiro.
He wrote several related goods the percussion and to the Lebanese rhythms addressed to the culture and the incentive in the new Arab percussionists.

With the death of Fuad Haidamus in 2002, it elaborated a page in your homage rescuing all your path and works accomplished in Brazil. The celebrated " Tribute to Fuad Haidamus " is today considered the largest report of the Arab music, counting on the participation of notable Shahrazad Sharkey, Lady and Pioneer of Bellydance in Brazil.
